Lucky?

People feel sad for those without vision,
but I don't understand
why we pity them.
They do not have to see
the horrible things in this world;
war, diseases, blood and pain...
I see this every day,
and what can I do?
Sometimes I think
the blind are lucky..

So true.. It must be a relief sometimes not to see all the sadness and wickedness in the world.
But they miss all the beauty as well, like the chage of seasons, and the colours of the rainbow..
I do like your way of reflect on life. very good!

That was a new way of putting it. I'm not sure if I agree, but I can see your point.
What you can do? Care for those who are close to you, which I know you do :) A wise Norwegian man said that the only thing we need in this world is kindness - kindness brings with it everything else that's good.
